Beacon Biotherapeutics Logo

As the Digital Content & Communications Manager at the NC State Office of Research Commercialization, I work with inventors and entrepreneurs with university based IP to help get their technology, service or software commercialized.

Beacon works on genitically modified pigs utilizing beacon fluorescent markers that help to develop CRISR technologies.

The logo is meant to mimic a beacon with energy waves radiating out to create the O in BEACON. By taking out a triangluar chunk of the radiating green lines on the left and right, I give the illusion of 2 B’s back to back to stand for the first letter of each word in the company name. The green is the same color green of the fluorescent markers.
