NIRSleep Logo
As a Digital Content & Communications Manager at the NC State Office of Technology Commercialization and New Ventures, I work with inventors and entrepreneurs with university based IP to help get their technology, service or software commercialized.
NIRSleep is developing and deploying a wearable sensor to measure brain activity. They use infrared light to non-invasively measure changing oxygen concentration in the user’s brain, and relate this to changes in the user’s condition.
The logo is meant to mimic brain waves through the shape of the N and S. Contained within a square which harkens back to the sensor chip. The colors represent the glow that the sensors give off when turned on.
